speaking as someone who’s been a fan of bob dylan’s music since 2010 it’s beyond hilarious to me that this biopic is making people LIKE HIM as a person. this website is so dumb!! he’s been famously an asshole for decades, he’s been famously ambivalent about social issues for decades, women have been talking about being sidelined or treated like a maid by him for decades and THE MOVIE SUPPORTS THAT LAST POINT (as in, it’s very clear you’re meant to feel bad for the multiple women who loved him but were never given the same attention from him). for god’s sake there’s some post on here, screenshots of joan baez saying bob dylan awoke the mother instinct in her and these looooooooosers are all reblogging it like “OMGGGGG I WANNA COOK AND CLEAN FOR HIM 😭” you’re all doomed!!!!!!!!!

i get that he takes funny photos because he looks like a stray animal but it’s not a flex to want to “fix him”. how exactly is that so different from an aspiring tradwife. really. have fun being an underweight WASP waif, though — the maid, the mommy, the muse to the artist forever, wow, what a life! 🙄

the way people are behaving about tiktok reminds me of many years ago when family guy killed off brian the dog and millennials everywhere lost their shit screaming, crying, suicidal, getting tattoos to remember what brian meant to them. it was a movement. america was united. and then, just one week later on the next episode of family guy… brian was simply back on the cast, and he was not dead. because he was a cartoon character.
