i truly am so uncomfortable with many drawings of butch lesbians on this site specifically of butch/femme couples, it’s clearly drawn by someone with zero knowledge of what irl women look like, subtle homophobia, or both. because fucking 85% of the time it’s this curvy or petite dainty femme and then a 6’8” ‘butch’ with giant shoulders and tiny hips/thighs, i mean literally drawn like the way a male bodybuilder looks. like that is just not what buff women look like! not even the most roided up female bodybuilder looks like that. even women with comparatively wide shoulders and slim hips do not look like that bc its simply not how our bones are built lol. a butch lesbian deciding to work out does not somehow transform her into dwayne the rock johnson lmao. and if that’s your idea of ~sexy masc lesbian~ then those “omg i LOVE butches!!!!!!” 60k note posts are every bit as disingenuous as i’ve always suspected them to be… so perhaps the people doing this are not attracted to actual butch/masc women lol. which is fine. but there’s no need to pretend. stop forcing hetero imagery onto depictions of gay relationships!
