seeing people say insulting and degrading things about lesbian separatists, radical feminists, and even just old dykes in general becomes so funny once you spend any amount of time with these women. all of the slander is so obviously untrue and the reason the masses believe it is because patriarchy benefits from keeping lesbian lives and history buried, disconnecting the older and younger generations, and convincing young women that being proudly and openly lesbian will absolutely make you icky and unlikable
