“all men are complicit in sexism and benefit from misogyny” is stating the function of a system in society, not demonizing men’s interiority. twisting that statement into some sort of insidious lie about men’s character in order to refute it on the basis that some men are good is disingenuous. there have been hundreds of thousands of good, kind men who have benefitted from misogynistic systems bc they are systems, not schools of thought or beliefs

it’s so funny when ppl post diatribes about “lesbian heteronormativity” and how it’s wrong for lesbians to Dress Like Men or Act Manly or whatever excuse they couch it in, this always comes with the subtext tjat this behavior must be an act, neglecting to even imagine for a second that maybe this may just be a natural way for a woman to behave… none of this is complicated or surprising like at all in any way so it’s baffling how ignorant some people are
